Horse Hide Chromexcel

Man! I dig this Horween Chromexcel. The shell of this wallet is made from a piece of Horween horse butt with a chromexcel tannage. The innards are 2 oz Wicket and Craig carving leather. The D ring is stainless and comes from Weaver. The thread is size 346 bonded polyester from Ferdco. None of this is cheap, but it’s all American made and well worth it.

  1. Great to find your blog. I love reading the posts and leather descriptions, I find the information about different leathers, their tannage and tannage/finish result very interesting.
    Love your belts and bags.
